A little more about the Studio. I will takes some updated pic's one of these days. lol!
I am a, at home basement based Studio. I have 9' tall ceilings with the bottom end joist 8'+. There is no ceiling to speak of (as in drop) and standing sine waves are not a problem at all. One half of the main room is wood and the other half is cement. Parkay flooring with removable mats and carpets. Mainly foam for acoustic treatment, bass traps, ect. No, 4 walls are the same and the floor is slanted. It sounds really good! The size of the "live" room is 24'x32'. Although, I do have a area 10'x14' that you would normally use as a "control" room. It is mainly used as storage or to mic cabinets room for separation . The electronics are currently located in the live room instead. Makes how I work more efficient. As well as the 12'x 10'x 7.5'h ISO booth. The remaining hallway area/storage room is 18'x12'. Storage for anything not currently being used in the live room. Working space is 1,100 sq. ft.
